A setting with character in every frame.

Filming in Belfast: A Characterful Interior Location.

The sitting room · fireplace and green velvet seating
Sheddington Manor

A location can do more than sit behind the subject. Pattern, collected furniture and the feeling of a lived-in room can help a small production or editorial shoot find its own voice. Sheddington Manor welcomes enquiries for filming and photography, with each proposal considered around the property and the practical needs of the project.

A little shape to the day.

Begin with a clear outline: the type of work, intended use, date, crew size, equipment and the rooms you hope to use. A location enquiry is not an instant booking. Discuss access, power, sound, movement of objects and any other production requirements directly, then confirm a written agreement before making the property part of a fixed schedule.

A few good places to begin.

01 / A PLACE TO BEGIN

Titanic Belfast

Shipbuilding stories and the city’s waterfront, told at the original shipyard. When planning location work in the wider city, treat every venue separately. A visitor ticket or a public view does not grant production access or commercial shooting permission.

02 / A PLACE TO BEGIN

Belfast Castle

A castle above the city, with gardens and a view worth pausing for. Outdoor and heritage settings have their own management and access rules. Obtain the permissions relevant to your project rather than assuming a location is available.

03 / A PLACE TO BEGIN

Queen's University Belfast

A red-brick landmark and a natural starting point for the Queen’s Quarter. Working institutions require particular consideration. Discuss location permissions through the appropriate venue channels and respect daily use of the space.

The details worth settling.

Any £50–£55 hourly indication for the manor’s location hire is provisional, subject to client approval and a two-hour minimum. It is not a confirmed tariff. Ask for a quote that reflects the actual project, spaces, duration and requirements.

A few useful answers.

Can I confirm filming hire by selecting a date online?

No. Filming and photoshoots are arranged by enquiry and written agreement after the project is reviewed.

Is the hourly location-hire figure final?

No. The £50–£55 per hour indication is provisional, with a two-hour minimum, and requires approval and a written quote.
